I'm so sorry if you are sick of hearing me go on and on about my book. However, that's what's going on in my life right now and I couldn't be more excited!
I did finish it up over the weekend and sent it to the printers. (Yay, I beat my 2nd deadline) I'm hoping that my kids and I will actually have a chance to go see it being printed. Sounds like a nice photo op.
I have a more professional looking online store now: http://surrogacybooks.ecrater.com/
I also designed some t-shirts and other merchandise that match my book and theme: www.cafepress.com/storkhelpers
So now what? Well I have to patiently sit back and wait. I hope to get my books this Thursday. I need to get some over to the local bookstore and then I'm heading out on vacation. That's right..... I'm going to Disneyland. We're going to take it nice and easy some days and then play all day on others. We're hititng up Mesquite so I can meet the one and only One Cluttered Brain in person! (and personally hand her a copy of my book) (if it's done before I leave) We'll be spending some time in Vegas and then California. We'll be going to Six Flags, hanging out in Hollywood and of course Disneyland.
Oh, the best part? Stopping for a visit to see the twins.
I've got a few people I'm dropping off books too. I better start sharpening my book signing skills. I really like this new "chapter" in my life. Tee hee.
In case you are curious, it took me about 3 months to complete my book. I think that's not bad for a 1st timer. I went over it a lot... the story, the layout, the cover, the illustrations. Ask my husband, it's been my life the last 3 months. I've loved every minute of it. I wonder how old the youngest illustrato is. My girls are 10 and 6. hmmm
Author of Once Upon a Surrogate: The Stork’s Helpers, started the phrase “I’m not the mom. I’m just the stork”. Surrogacy has opened many doors for me which led to a happier, more rewarding life. (Inactive as far as the Mormon part, still spiritual, open and respectful) My surrobabies were born in 2006 (girl), 2009 (twin boys) and 2014 (girl). I am a huge surrogacy advocate and creative entrepreneur. Hoping to match for one final journey.

Sing-along Saturday
I've been wanting to do this for awhile and as far as I know know one else has started Sing-along Saturday. Or as you can see it was supposed to be Freak Out Friday. (either way)
I did this video months ago and am now getting the courage to post it. (It was in April, before I cut my hair)
If you want to play along, this is your chance to dork out, have fun, or be serious about singing along. I will sing along in other ways too-karaoke, rock band, however you want to sing along.
I was kind of dorking out on this one. I'd like to start doing this once a week, feel free to join me.
I dedicate this first S.S. to One Cluttered Brain:
I'm going to go hide now from embarrassment, but it's all good...

Attention Please: Guest Post By One Cluttered Brain
This is my 1st guest poster. Take it away OCB-
It is FRIDAY! YAY! And do you know what that means? I better start writing for Mormon Surrogate. *cough, cough* She asked me to guest post like 2 weeks ago is it now? *sigh* I hope this post makes up for my procrastination and crazy busy LIFE I've been leading lately! :)
I'm sitting here eating a ice-cream sandwich pop-tart and browsing Facebook and Twitter when I learned a very important fact. I need to start WRITING. I kinda had a deadline to guest post on this FABULOUS blog that you are reading right now. And when am I getting it done? Just now, as we speak. I have a few tips for you on blogging and twittering, and what NOT to do, what to do...and so forth.
Are you following me thus far?
Good. We can begin. *AHEM*
* Blogging. Blog only when you feel like it. Because if blogging becomes a chore that you are not gonna want to do it very often. (So what does that say about me and my blogging habits? I just posted 24 blog posts in 24 hours for #Blogapalooza event Aug 17th and Aug 18th.) I got part of my blog turn into a book. Cool? I think it is.
* Twitter. Mention your blog posts when you update. Mention the cool peeps that you follow. Strike up conversation with the ultra COOL peeps on Twitter. Tweet out your cool giveaways that you are hosting on your blog. Log on at least once or twice a day on Twitter to see what is going on. NEVER, EVER just update Twitter with what you just ate all the time. That gets old real fast.
That sums up about what I do know. LOL.
But wait, Cluttered Brain you might say, That's it. This is all you are gonna post on this fabulous blog?
You WANT more?
I just can't please everybody now can I?
Perhaps I should share a video I just made?
I mean, videos are THE BEST WAY in my opinion, to get people's attention. And I happen to think I make some awesome videos.
So here is goes. :)
Enjoy!
Once you get really good with blogging you might want to try vlogging! It is wonderful and FUN and allows you to make so many wonderful connections!
This is all i have for you. :)
If you want to read MORE about me, head on over One Cluttered Brain. (http://oneclutteredbrain.blogspot.com)

Tagging Along with One Cluttered Brain (pic game)
Thanks for giving me something to blog about.... OneClutteredBrain!
Here is the assignment:
Go to your 1st picture folder and post your 10th picture and tell about it. How easy is that?
Good thing I'm on my laptop that has pictures, not my new laptop that does not. :)
Ah, well, my 1st folder only has 3 pictures in it... so I guess I'll move on to my 2nd folder...
10th picture....
Wait for it.... *Evil Grin*
Ok that's too freaking funny, because I've posted this pic before. Do I really need to explain it? I mean it's kind of self explanatory right? Big ole belly, face mask... patient gown.. patient hat thingy. Either I'm having a huge tumor removed or I'm pregnant and gonna have a baby or 2.
Well I was having 2 babies. Yep...2. This was last year, it was my 3rd surrogacy and I was having a c-section at 33 weeks. The day? April 15, 2009. What great timing for this pic, the twins are almost a year!
Aw....
And just to show you what was in the first folder.... here's the 3rd picture...
This was a week before the twins were born. I was in another hospital in pre-term labor. That's my sweet little boo boo (Jessica)
. Look at that big old bump of a belly! :)
So who wants to play? Well I'm going to *tag* the following:
Brittany @ Unexpected Surprises
tandvjung @ Adorkable2143's Blog
